Alberta’s newest golf and RV resort located 45 minutes west of Edmonton is currently accepting applications for a Greens Technician.
Responsibilities:
- Quality control of course accessories and turf conditions.
- Setting up the Golf Course for play.
- Working knowledge of all operator routes.
- Communicate conditions, yields, moisture and IPM to supervisors.
- Application of fertilizer to target areas and fulfill greens cultural practices.
- Water management and satellite programming.
- Regular golf course maintenance.
- Adhere to Trestle Creek Golf Resorts’ “Health & Safety Policy”, including specific departmental safety standards.
Preferred Knowledge/Qualifications:
- Knowledge of plant identification.
- Knowledge of the game of golf.
- Ability to operate, but not limited to: turf cutting units, cultural equipment, rotary spreader and calibration, backpack sprayer, sod cutter, and core aerator.
- Setting tee markers and pin locations.
- Irrigation trouble shooting, HDPE irrigation pipe repair.
- Drainage work.
- Valid driver’s license, valid driver’s abstract.
