Brad Dupius, Designer

Brad Dupuis, Designer Born and raised in Alberta, Brad Dupuis started in the Golf Course industry and the age of 18, where he quickly became one of the most respected and well regarded golf course shapers, and construction managers in the golf world. Brad learned his craft working with internationally famous designers such as Jack Nicklaus, Rod Whitman, Pete Dye, Robert Von Hagge and Tom Weiskopf, but has developed his own philosophies and design characteristics that make his work so unique.

One of Brad’s first jobs was working for Rod Whitman building on of Canadas finest the Wolf Creek Golf Resort in the early 1980s. After building courses around the world over the past two decades including Mexico, Jamaica, France, Spain, Germany, Chile, South Korea, Japan, Canary Islands, Morocco, Canada and the USA, Brad has returned to Alberta to design and build Trestle Creek.

Many of the courses Brad has built have received awards and recognition including The Ritz Carelton White Witch course in Jamaica which is rated #1 Caribbean course and the Les Bourdes Golf Resort in France which is rated #1 course in all of Europe again in 2009.

Brads courses are memorable, aesthetically pleasing, and most of all, fun to play time and time again. Brad’s design at Trestle Creek blends impeccably with the existing terrain and is in complete harmony with the natural environment surrounding the course. Brad never forgets that golf is first and foremost about golfers and designs his courses for the maximum enjoyment regardless of your golf ability.
