Trestle Creek Golf Resort Up-date
As we close out the month of August the entire Trestle Creek project is moving ahead daily. We have been lucky that the rain has not been a big factor to-date and all the crews have been hard at it. We have brought in an additional shaper to help Brad and that has allowed us to start installing drainage on greens and getting the sand base in place on the greens while Brab finishes up the shaping on number 4 and gets number 9 started. The tee-boxes are coming a long very nicely and you can really see and the shape of the golf course and get a feel for how beautiful it is going to be.
There are two crews installing the golf course irrigation system, the ground has been cleared for the parking lot up by where the recreation centre will be and mounding, trees and landscaping is very noticeable around holes 1,2 & 4. The main water and sewer lines are also being installed and working their way from the temporary clubhouse towards Phase 1 and the services that will be needed for Phase 2 and the rest of the Phases.
The entrance feature has been rough shaped and we are just waiting for the pool liners to show up for the main pond feature, the waterfalls and the tee-box pond. Phase 1 RV is really taking shape and the front of the lots has been cleared to get ready for the services to be trenched in. We have been doing some tweaking to holes 6 & 7 which are looking fantastic! We are adding a new picture viewer to our website so we can up-date the construction pictures more efficiently too.
Sales have been excellent and we have now sold 61 of the 89 lots in Phase 1. I am at the course daily, so if you want to come take a look come on by I’d be pleased to give you a tour of the progress.
