Trestle News

The golf course is open and is in great shape this year.

The Last Spike Grill and Track Shack are both open for business on regular hours and our restaurant is available for dining and take-out. You can pick up a take-out menu at the clubhouse anytime.

Just a reminder to try and avoid large crowd gatherings at Trestle Creek until things settle down and make sure to self-isolate if coming back from another country..

Annual Passes are now available. Please contact  for more information. Our Golf/ Annual Pass Rates are under drop-down "Golf Course" .."Annual Golf Passes".

We are also taking bookings for events, however, they must be under 50 people at this time.

Warren comes to us with great experience and talent. We are lucky to have him here as part of the Trestle Creek Family.

The only place in Alberta where you will find this all in one resort is Trestle Creek. There will be 25 kilometres of walking, jogging, biking trails which also can be enjoyed for snowshoeing, cross country skiing in the winter time.

The heartbeat of the resort, will be the expansive Trestle Creek Recreation Centre, the design of which will allow you to be as active or relaxed as you like. Whether you want to keep fit, take in a movie or have fun, this approximately 10,000 square foot facility will have it all.

Experience the stunning indoor pool, climbing wall, wading pool, hot tubs, sauna, fitness room, and gym. After a good workout or a round of golf, you can relax in the reading lounge, movie theatre, or games room. The games room will include a video arcade, pool, foosball, darts, shuffle board, poker table and indoor golf simulator for your family's enjoyment. This spectacular four season recreation centre will be conveniently located in the center of the 600 acre Trestle Creek Resort, in close proximity to the clubhouse and general store. The recreation centre will be built on a hill with magnificent views of the golf course, recreation lake and meandering creeks below.


One of the most unique features of our resort is the Recreation Lake, located directly beside and below the future Recreation Centre. This amenity rich area has a sandy beach, swimming, paddle boats, kayaks, beach volleyball, waterslides, lazy river run, zip line and a cable wakeboard park!  Talk about having fun and unwinding ... and right in your backyard!

Choose from nearby Lake Isle, Lake Wabamum or Pembina River—all within 10 minutes. You can go swimming, canoeing, sailing or waterskiing. Join the throng of water-lovers floating down the stunning Pembina River gorge on a brilliant, sunny week-end.

Visit Pembina River Tubing for more information. WIthin minutes, you can be fishing at Lake Isle or Lake Wabamum. If you prefer stream fishing, it's only a short drive to the fish in the foothills of Alberta's famous Rocky Mountains. Snowmobiling* Trestle Creek is located close to the Jack Pine Grazing Reserve Lands, home to the Stony Plain Trail Seeks clubhouse and 40 km of groomed trails. You can access hundreds of miles of great sledding trailing that connect to Lake Wabamum, Drayton Valley and other areas. Quadding* The Drayton Valley and Pembina Valley areas are know for excellent quadding terrain. Make Trestle Creek your home base, load up your machines and experience a sensational day quadding. Shopping Miles form the hustle of everyday life, Trestle Creek is only a short drive from everything you need. Less than five minutes away, Entwistle and Evansburg are the towns where you can find supermarkets, banks, restaurants and more. Only 25 minutes away, Drayton Valley offers services including big box stores, a regional hospital and many interesting specialty stores. * No snowmobiling or quadding is permitted on Trestle Creek property. A storage area will be provided on the Trestle Creek site, from where you can trailer your machine to one of the many surrounding public recreation areas.

Scheduled to take shape in the coming seasons, this stand-alone horse facility is located at the west side of the project and offers trail rides, wagon rides, sleigh rides and an outdoor riding arena. A perfect way to enhance a family get together, or to just have a low key ride through the amazing Magnolia Hills. 

You can never have too many options when it comes to having fun, so we will create the Sports Park! Perfect for family get-togethers, practice or just getting out for some fun, you’ll have the option of using the soccer pitch, baseball diamond, horseshoe pit, large BBQ area and shelter.  There is also a large off-leash area to help stretch man’s best friend’s legs too!
